Gunwalloe Fishing Cove Beach

Gunwalloe Fishing Cove Beach is a west-facing beach at the southern end of Porthleven Beach. It is a sand and pebble beach which sits in a small cove around 5 miles from Helston on the Lizard Peninsula in south west Cornwall.
Information
Sometimes known as Halzephron Cove, Gunwalloe Fishing Cove Beach is separated from its neighbour, Church Cove Beach, by Pedngwinian headland. Because of the lack of facilities and the treacherous water conditions, the beach is normally very quiet. Mullion Golf Course is nearby.
Self catering holiday accommodation is available in Mullion (6½ miles by road) and Mullion Cove (8 miles) holiday cottages. Holiday cottages in Helston (5 miles), Penzance (17 miles) and Falmouth (14 miles) offer further self catering options.
There is no parking near the beach. The nearest car park is at Church Cove Beach, from where Gunwalloe Fishing Cove can be walked via the South West Coast Path. There are no facilities near the beach. Dogs are permitted all year round.
There is now a pay and display car park situated at the top of the beach for a small number of cars.
