Polperro is one of Cornwall’s most picturesque villages, sitting on the south coast between Fowey (7 miles by road and Bodinnick Ferry) and Looe (4 miles by road). A small, sandy beach sits just outside the harbour walls of this unspoilt Cornish fishing village.

Polperro Beach

Polperro is a working fishing village boasting a range of facilities for holiday-makers including cafs, restaurants, pubs, art galleries, shops, a museum and public toilets. Polperro Beach is a very small beach and is only available at low tide.

Holiday cottages in Polperro provide a range of self catering holiday accommodation options. Accommodation is available to the east in Looe holiday cottages and to the west in holiday cottages in Fowey.

There are fine walks to be enjoyed in this area of Cornwall, and boat trips are available from Polperro harbour in peak season. A car park is situated just outside the village. Dogs are permitted on Polperro Beach.

  1. Couch’s Great House Restaurant is situated in the quaint fishing village of Polperro Cornwall. Opened in 2004 in the heart of the village, under the direction of Richard McGeown (Executive Head Chef) who has drawn from his past experience of working with country’s most famous names. The restaurant itself is an amalgam of Cornish old world charm with sophisticated Macintosh influenced modern furniture with wood burning style stoves. The environment being conducive for a relaxing and enjoyable evening out.
