Priests Cove Beach sits in the shadow of Cape Cornwall on Cornwall’s west coast. Priests Cove is a south-facing pebble beach set in a small fishing cove. Fine Atlantic views can be enjoyed from the cliff tops above the beach.

Beach at Cape Cornwall, CornwallThe bulk of Priests Cove Beach is accessible only at low tide, when a small natural swimming pool and rock pools are revealed. Footpaths provide access to the top of the cliffs, where a chimney stands as a reminder of Cornwall’s mining past. The Brisons rock formations stand just off the cape.

Self catering holiday accommodation near Cape Cornwall is provided by St Just holiday cottages (1½ miles by road from Cape Cornwall). Further self catering accommodation options are available in holiday cottages in Penzance (8½ miles) and St Ives (14½ miles).

A National Trust car park and toilet facilities are provided at Cape Cornwall. Dogs are not permitted on the beach between 1st April to 1st October from the winch house down.
